The Rivera 18 is a relaxed evolution of MATiAS’s signature Rivera trouser and one of our most worn fits at F E R A. Built on the same thoughtful foundation as the original, this version opens up the silhouette with a looser, relaxed straight leg that emphasizes flow, proportion, and movement.

Inspired by the Coronel Selvedge trouser, the Rivera 18 uses a single-panel construction with no side seam, allowing the structure of the garment to speak through its simplicity. The mid rise and open leg create an easy drape through the body, designed to wear naturally straight, lightly stacked, or tailored without losing its character.

Construction remains unchanged. Single needle sewing throughout, a four-pocket trouser layout, front button with drawcord closure, and a zip fly. Same pattern. Same details. Just more room and movement.

The fabric is MATiAS’s Japanese indigo judo denim, woven using the Mato Ori technique. Washed, softened, and pre-shrunk, the denim has weight and texture while remaining comfortable from the first wear. Designed to age beautifully over time.
